President, Curry Floor & Acoustics Co.
What are you working on now?
Curry Floor has teamed up with the Unity Point Foundation and Children’s Miracle Network to sponsor a fun, child-themed room in the pediatrics unit at UnityPoint Health St Luke’s. It has been such an amazing experience thus far planning exciting ideas for the theme. I do not want to spoil anything, so you’ll just have to wait until the BIG reveal! I can promise you that the Curry Floor room will be over the top!
What is your vision for the future?
I have an incredibly positive outlook for the future. I see our community continuing to rapidly expand. Siouxland is growing so quickly. Just look at areas like Flatwater Crossing that Ho-Chunk and BluStone are developing. We must all continue to support, inspire, and motivate each other.
What would you like to see happen in Siouxland?
I would like to see the community continue to support local small businesses. It has such a massive impact on our community. After all, they are the companies that are giving back–sponsoring our local youth sports teams and fundraisers. When you support small business you directly support the community where it is located.
What are you doing to make that happen?
Helping others network with trusted contractors, architects, and designers to encourage that work remains local and of the highest quality. I am in love with the process of helping facilitate and foster these types of relationships. I am also excited about my latest commitment as a South Sioux Chamber Board member. I cannot wait to learn from the other members of the board and implement my own ideas as well.
How can people help you make that happen?
By respecting our community and supporting local businesses, when Siouxland works together everyone wins. I am so blessed to have my girlfriend, Dawn Frein, and our five children supporting me along the way. Just to have the opportunity to make an impact on our community is a blessing. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to all my friends and colleagues who have supported me and my visions for a better Siouxland.
